Chon Ji - A Benton Martial Arts Documentary

Since opening our doors on January 1st, 2011, in Benton, LA, Benton Martial Arts (BMA) has grown from a small family operation into a cornerstone of the local martial arts community. Founded by brothers Marshal and Christian Fulgium, we began with just three students and a vision to become Benton’s premier martial arts academy, offering disciplines like Jiu-jitsu, Kickboxing, and Taekwon-Do.

Over the years, despite challenges and changing dynamics, BMA has flourished. After a move to a larger space within our original shopping center to accommodate our growing classes, and navigating the ups and downs of community sports and economic shifts, we've made significant strides. Our journey took a remarkable turn during the pandemic in 2020, when our community showed incredible support, allowing our student base to soar above 100 active members.

Today, BMA is not just a martial arts school; it’s a thriving hub with a successful summer camp, an enriching after-school program, and home to numerous national and international champions. Our upcoming documentary, "USA vs England," highlights our international competition journey and showcases the spirit and achievements of our students and community.
